I have also mounted the shell and decided to try velcro at the back and I think it works a treat and is so much easier to remove/put on, can't help thinking it looks much better ... New shell, new tyres all round on new wheels, matching wing and a few other bit and I think it looks great. A new RC Car speed record was set at the ROSSA UK RC Vehicle Speed Championships on 13th Sept 2009 beating the existing record that was set by Nic Case in 2008 at 161.34 mph. The new record was set by A J Lovering (me!) with a hybrid rocket powered car at 163.51mph. Here is the video

This comprises of a carbon fibre chassis deck, cf subdeck and anodised alloy front bulkhead ( gun metal in this case ) First, you strip the little bugger bare..... which gets rid of....... and If you compare the two chassis decks, you find the cf one has extra space to get the gearbox out...apparently it's easier ( yeah, right ) Once all is done and completed, you end up with a mmb ...
