is the filter still in place,under the fan ??

No filter yet but I'll make sure one is when I test it on the road

Makes a cracking difference, would think the filter would need to be above the fan though.

Typical testing day. Track covered in mud so cant use half of it. Blew the plugs, Lost a drive shaft then it rained.

Anyway I managed 79mph on a short run up and leaned out the engine until it was getting slower then rest for optimum tune. I then ran the fan and the car made 79 again but with a much shorter run up and thats when I lost the drive shaft and it rained. So reults were inconclusive but I feel the car picked up faster and was accelerating through the trap.

I'll try again when the weather is better and try to get some definate numbers

Good stuff matey, at least 79 is a decent first test, shows it's potential.

I have had 94 with the same car and a modified engine. I might drill our the crank and see if that improves things
