Well I'm sure some fo you will have been reading my project thread on MSUK, but my X1-CRe is now finished so i thought I'd post up a few piccies of it very happy
How it started, pretty empty looking

RC8Te battery tray modded and installed

ESC in and plastic spur installed

RX and Servo in

And the finished product

Its so quick, even on 4s. Currently geared for around 50mph and I'd say it definitely does that. The only oil I had spare for the diff was 3k though, so the front wheels do spin up quite a bit.

Looking forward to giving it a proper test on Sunday cool

Matt.

Cheers Mark, it feels good to have something a little more custom than the usual stuff :D

Oh and I can't afford one of those Slipperentials, and to be honest I'm not sure on their reliability either whistling I won't be running silly power all the time so I should hopefully be ok.

nice mat, the biggest problem i had was keeping the heavy batteries in. I have a spare RCM battery holder if you have issues looks pretty secure though
