Mine looks fine thank you very much rofl

I was tempted by one of the Hong Nor SC's when they came out too, but I opted for the Slash just because I knew it would get a good following and good range of hopups (doesn't stop the breaking driveshafts being a pain in the backside though!)

Had it out for a blast this evening...

Handling wise it's very good - It seems to run a 60 / 40 rear drive bias GOOD

For those not in the know ( wink ) that means 60% of the drive goes to the rear - the rest to the front...

Basically, it's tail happy, but after sliding, will pull itself out of the turn with the front wheels wink

As a result, it's a very user friendly chassis, allowing you to drift british flag

The only problem I have with mine ? My esc has no soft reverse..... hit the brakes and it goes backwards rofl rofl rofl

And before you ask... YES, I've checked the programming - I can either have reverse, or NO reverse british flag

Everything else is turned up to 11 rofl

Warms up quite nicely, but not skin melting warm laugh

kills a battery ( 7.4 ) fairly quickly, but like I said, I've got it running max on everything, rofl

Yeah but I like been different mate (he says being the owner of a baja rofl

They aren't that popular because people haven't taken a chance on them, they just go with the reviews on the slash and the likes.

It's built by Hong Nor so it's gonna be tough you only have to look at the likes of the X1cr and the CRT and the amount of abuse they can take to know that this is going to be a contender for the slash.

Well been running it a bit now, an all I can say is its ........... FANTASTIC

done a couple of changes over the stock kit
An that's the Diff oil weights

Stock are

3000 front
5000 centre
1000 rear

Which is a great set up, but with the extra power I was putting through, it was ballooning the front tyres too much

So I've now changed them to

7000 front
10.000 centre
5000 rear

Next on my list to have a play with is shock oil weights
It Lifts the front under acceleration an is also a little soft on landings
Rebound of the springs seems fine
So I plan to up the thickness an see if that helps for a start
May then look at some harder springs later on

There has also been a Motor an system change

Its now running the

M-troniks G2 Beast ESC and P2 Beast Brushless Combo

On a 16T Pinion

An Power is now fed via 2

Turnigy 5000mAh 2S 30C Lipo

Running in series

using a home made link

to run them like this

Its now MENTAL laugh

An I think at some point I will go for a 3S just to tame it down a little wink

But for now its great fun

I can highly recommend these trucks, the whole kit is very well made, Very Strong, handles like a dream, its easy as pie to work on, an parts (should you need them) are easy to get
GOOD
